We're all moved in. We had a wealth of wonderful people helping us Saturday and we plugged it out in no time...relatively speaking. We even had the Birchfield's stay over our first night here, breaking it all in.
The house is great. I laugh at myself because I want to try everything that is new out really fast. In the few days we've been here I have washed clothes, sat on the porch despite the heat, demolished the six foot weeds out front, and even gathered up enough dishes to use the dishwasher. I'm so weird!
In other news, we've got one more week here, and then vacation. Not sure what we're doing except heading to some part of the east coast. We'll probably fly by the seat of our pants, we haven't planned or researched a thing, but it should be fun. Anyone know of a good place???
Sunday a young couple and their child came to Veritas. It was such an encouragement to me to see real life couple's our age, in town, living life for the same reason as us. I know they exist...I just haven't found many yet.
Although our current housemate seems to be a floater between two houses, :-), I love that there is someone else here. Although for selfish reasons I enjoy other people being in the place I live, it will seem empty once Spen moves out. I really hope our house, whether this one or some future one can be home to fellow people, for whatever length of time. I haven't felt out yet for what purpose...but the word "shelter" runs through my head....

doggone it your gettin' it girl....especially the part about you being weird, of course. I knew you'd come around.
as for where you'll wind up vacation wise, my bets are you'll not get out of the Amish valleys of good ol' PA
